In Toronto and Calgary, we've opened the first family shelters in Canada for single men and fathers with children who have experienced domestic abuse.

Our Toronto shelter is a four-storey house near York University, with family rooms, common areas and administrative offices — a real home, not an institution.

The shelter runs on community support.
We welcome donations of beds, couches, desks and kitchen items — and volunteers to help with facility management and intake. Every gift keeps a family safe.
